Let’s Hear from Natalie: “Hello, my name is Natalie Gil-Arcos. I am an undergraduate student at Monmouth University. I am majoring in Clinical Laboratory Science and aspire to become a laboratory scientist of some sort. During my research time with Dr. Burrows, I am most eager to learn about the different teaching techniques that can help students excel and understand Chemistry!”
Emily De Almeida
Project: A longitudinal look at experiences across different inquiry labs
Let’s Hear from Emily: “Hi, I am Emily De Almeida! I attend Monmouth University and will be an upcoming sophomore. I play on the soccer team and as of right now, I am a biology major. I am so excited to do research with Dr. Burrows. She is an amazing professor who has helped me understand chemistry with her engaging and fun teaching style. Therefore, I am interested in doing research with her to help other students learn chemistry, just as she has helped me!”

Let’s Hear from Audrey: “Hi, my name is Audrey, and I am a sophomore at Monmouth majoring in Biology with a Concentration in Molecular Cell Physiology. I am also minoring in Psychology, and I believe Dr. Burrows’ research gives me a great opportunity to understand more about the psychology of learning. I love the research process and hope to gain valuable experience that will help me excel in science. I am planning to become a Physician Assistant in the future, possibly working in Emergency Medicine. I am so excited to be a part of this team!”
