This event is apart of the “Where can chemistry take me?” series. This Third discussion looks at Michael, a current pharmaceutical science graduate student and forensic toxicologist who was a chemistry major in undergrad. We will discuss:
How do you get into a toxicology focused program?
What are some good pharmaceutical science programs and schools?
How does a typical day look in toxicology research and working in industry?
What type of jobs does a forensic toxicologist do?
How do you transition to a program like pharmaceutical sciences from a BSc. program in chemistry?
How can I be a competitive candidate for a pharmaceutical science program?
Michael will also share his current experience as a graduate student, and then we will move into an open Q and A session.
